Michael Warneboldt is founder and Chief Executive Officer at the X-Group of Companies and TURBINE-X Energy Inc.. Prior to his current role, he advanced through multiple high-level leadership and executive positions within the power generation and rotating equipment industry, most recently with a successful consultancy.
Recognized as a subject matter expert by his peers, Mike has over 27 years of diverse experience in leadership for the design, engineering, sales, fabrication, packaging, servicing and rentals of both reciprocating and turbine engine powered mechanical drive systems.
With a vision and passion to build a sustainable business founded on trust, core values that deeply resonate, and an offering of customized vendor-neutral solutions, Mike birthed what would become TURBINE-X Energy in 2020. Since this time, he has been growing a team that shares this vision and works together each day to change the power generation industry.

Mike resides in central Alberta with his wife and family. After hours, he can often be found working around the acreage or floating a fishing boat out on the water.

Jordan Rivers is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the X-Group of Companies. Prior to his current role, he was CTO and President of TURBINE-X Technologies. Jordan also also been a Field Service Representative with Solar Turbines and Head of Product and Engineering for Pathloom.
Jordan is an accomplished professional with a vast knowledge of gas turbine engines and control systems. After receiving his pilot license at the age of 18, and going on to graduate from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Robotics, he has continued to gain expertise in new turbine technology with a passion and drive for learning new skills.
In his current role, Jordan is responsible for implementing the company's vision and long-term growth strategy. He leads our team as we strive to generate and deliver kilowatts to give back with endless energy.
Jordan and his family enjoy spending their time hiking in the great outdoors all year round.

James (Jim) Skinner is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the X-Group of Companies. With over 44 years of experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Jim has provided financial leadership to businesses across various sectors. His expertise spans controllership services, financial analysis, software implementation, and the development of financial projection models for budgeting and banking requirements. He has also contributed to the creation of financial reporting software, such as JD Edwards, and has offered acquisition and disposition accounting support for major corporate transactions.
Jim has served notable clients, including Lafarge Canada Inc., Carmacks Construction Ltd., North American Construction Group, and Heidelberg Materials, bringing his expertise to some of the largest construction and industrial companies in the country.
Early in his career, Jim sharpened his skills at Ernst & Young, where he articled as a CPA student, building the foundation for his long and accomplished career in finance.
In addition to his professional achievements, Jim has taken on leadership roles in the charitable sector, including serving as Board Chairman for Hope Mission in Edmonton.

Erica Bursey is Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at the X-Group of Companies and TURBINE-X Energy Inc.. She is credited as co-founder, along with Michael Warneboldt and their dream that began in 2020.
As CAO, Erica provides leadership, oversight and support to the company’s administrative effectiveness, supplier relationships, fleet optimization, and employee engagement. On a daily basis, Erica ensures the X-FACTOR Experience is realized by the organization, and that we continuously learn and grow in the ways we demonstrate our core values (Be great; Be kind; Stand out; Have fun; Give back; Together, We Win!). She is passionate about finding opportunities for the X-Group to support our community and give back to build a better future for generations to come.
Outside of the office, Erica enjoys family time with Michael and her daughter (who is growing up way too fast!). She loves working on and driving her '68 Firebird or relaxing out at the lake. Although Erica has been collecting classic books to expand her home library, she is not above a cheesy movie (preferably Christmas themed).

Andrew Skinner is Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at the X-Group of Companies. A seasoned marketing and digital transformation leader, he has nearly 20 years of experience helping organizations clarify their brand story, align teams, and scale through technology.
Since joining X-Group in 2022, Andrew has been promoted from Marketing Manager to CDO, now leading Marketing, Digital Systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS), IT, Safety, and HR. He has guided the company’s growth through brand development, system integration, and process alignment across Canada and the United States.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Alberta. He is passionate about turning carefully planned ideas into real-world impact.
For recreation, he and his wife chase after their corgi pup, and have really come to enjoy cross country skiing in their winter city. Andrew plays music and usually keeps a guitar handy.

Elliot Bridgewater is External General Counsel with the X-Group of Companies. He has been a member of the Law Society of Alberta for over a decade and was recently admitted to the Wisconsin Law Society. Over his career, he has taught Cooperative Law at the University of Calgary and frequently serves as a guest lecturer on cooperative legal issues.
Elliot brings extensive expertise in co-operative structure, governance, and sustainability. Since 2017, he has provided independent legal services to community-minded businesses, helping them strengthen their organizations through sound governance and thoughtful strategy.
In his current role, Elliot supports X-Group with legal guidance that balances compliance, good governance, and sustainable growth. He is also an active member of the Alberta Community and Co-operative Association (ACCA) and serves as Canada’s Alternate Delegate to the International Cooperative Alliance Americas (ICA).
In 2023, Elliot was elected to the Board of Calgary Co-op, one of the largest retail co-operatives in Canada, and in 2025 he was appointed Chair of the Governance Committee, where he continues to contribute his expertise in cooperative leadership and board oversight.

Doug Spirig is Vice President of TURBINE-X Energy Canada. He is an operations-focused executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across the Canadian energy sector, spanning oil and gas, power generation, mining, and pulp and paper.
Doug has held senior leadership roles with Amazon, Cummins, ClearWater Energy Services, Finning, Nexen, and EPCOR. His career highlights include commissioning a 160MW syngas-fired co-generation plant at Nexen, leading the development of greenfield power projects at EPCOR, directing $180 million in mechanical services operations at ClearWater, and overseeing Cummins’ power generation sales and rental agreements across Western Canada. Most recently, he served as General Manager at Amazon, where he led a one-million-square-foot fulfillment center with 1,500 employees, achieving top performance rankings in North America while reducing workplace injuries by more than 50%.
In his current role, Doug brings his proven track record in P&L leadership, project development, and operational excellence to help guide TURBINE-X Energy Canada’s growth and execution strategy. He is recognized as a change leader with a strong commitment to building safety culture, driving efficiency, and developing high-performing teams.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Alberta and is a Professional Engineer registered with APEGA.

Lyoid Fussell is President of TURBINE-X Energy USA. With more than two decades of industry experience, he has held leadership and sales roles with several significant players in the energy and power generation sectors.
A U.S. Army veteran, Lyoid earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University. Over his career, he has developed deep expertise in oil and gas completions, power generation, turbine power solutions, operations, business development, and creative problem-solving.
In his current role, Lyoid leads TURBINE-X Energy USA as we expand our presence and partnerships across the American energy sector, building on our mission to deliver cross-platform power solutions that generate kilowatts and give back with endless energy.
A man of many talents, Lyoid spends his spare time on a diverse array of hobbies, including custom rod building, video game development, and songwriting.

Jesse Webb is Vice President of Strategic Development at TURBINE-X Energy USA. He leads sales and growth strategy for packaged power generation systems built around gas turbines and reciprocating engines, with a focus on developing new markets and supporting customers in the energy, industrial, and data center sectors.
With more than 25 years of experience in energy markets, business development, and investment strategy, Jesse has held leadership roles across the power generation industry and founded companies in energy, recycling, healthcare, and finance. This broad background gives him unique insight into building businesses and creating lasting client value.
In his current role, Jesse partners with engineering and project teams to shape solutions that align with client needs, guide negotiations from RFQ through contract close, and develop long-term relationships that deliver both technical and commercial success.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business and Managerial Economics from Southern Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Oklahoma.
Outside of work, Jesse enjoys life with his wife of 25 years and their two children — whether it’s a family road trip or a quiet evening cooking together.

Kristi Dashney is Global Human Resources Director at TURBINE-X Energy, where she drives people strategy and workforce development as the company rapidly scales across North America. With nearly 20 years of HR leadership experience in the energy, manufacturing, and industrial sectors, she has built her career on creating strong, people-first foundations that help organizations grow and thrive.
Before joining TURBINE-X, Kristi held senior HR roles with Borusan Pipe, Mammoet, Olin, and Tenaris, specializing in full-cycle talent attraction, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, labor relations, and succession planning. At every stop, she’s been known for balancing business acumen with a genuine commitment to employee growth and development.
Kristi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Production Stage Management (with a minor in HR and PR Communications) from Stephen F. Austin State University and holds certifications through the National Workforce Institute. She credits her live entertainment education in theatrical production management for her ability to keep the show running smoothly—whether the “stage” is a plant floor, a global expansion, or a boardroom.
When she’s not shaping HR strategy, Kristi can be found behind the wheel of a classic car, camera in hand, and preferably on a new adventure that blends all her favorite things: horsepower, travel, and photography.

Feroze Ansari, P.Eng. is Director of Projects at X-Group of Companies.
With more than 27 years of leadership experience and success in executing high value critical projects, he is a trusted people and technical leader with energy (oil, gas & LNG) EPC project expertise.
Feroze brings a deep understanding of Project Management, with a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from power generation, compression, gas plants, pipelines, tank farms and LNG terminals. His wealth of experience has amassed with project execution in Canada, USA, Pakistan, Australia, UAE, Iraq and other countries.
He believes in diversity and inclusion as key driving factors in developing effective teams for successful project execution. He helps teams to reach their goals better, faster and cheaper by bringing radically different perspectives together to generate a synergistic, single-team effort that eliminates wasted energy.
Feroze enjoys the great outdoors on his motorcycle and volunteering in the community.

Anna Ly is Controller with TURBINE-X Energy Canada. She brings 17 years of progressive experience in financial management, analysis, and reporting, with deep expertise in multi-entity operations and compliance under both ASPE and US GAAP.
Prior to joining TURBINE-X, Anna served as Financial Controller for Universal Rewind and eMotors Direct, where she led full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and working capital management for two related entities. Earlier in her career, she held senior financial roles at Chandos Construction and Enbridge, building expertise in budgeting, forecasting, intercompany accounting, and capital project reporting.
Anna is recognized for her ability to improve forecasting accuracy, automate reporting processes, and deliver financial insights that drive operational and strategic decisions. She is highly skilled in NetSuite, Oracle, Hyperion, and advanced Excel-based modeling.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Diploma in Accounting and Strategic Measurement, both from MacEwan University.
