Michael Warneboldt is founder and Chief Executive Officer at the X-Group of Companies and TURBINE-X Energy Inc.. Prior to his current role, he advanced through multiple high-level leadership and executive positions within the power generation and rotating equipment industry, most recently with a successful consultancy.
Recognized as a subject matter expert by his peers, Mike has over 27 years of diverse experience in leadership for the design, engineering, sales, fabrication, packaging, servicing and rentals of both reciprocating and turbine engine powered mechanical drive systems.
With a vision and passion to build a sustainable business founded on trust, core values that deeply resonate, and an offering of customized vendor-neutral solutions, Mike birthed what would become TURBINE-X Energy in 2020. Since this time, he has been growing a team that shares this vision and works together each day to change the power generation industry.

Mike resides in central Alberta with his wife and family. After hours, he can often be found working around the acreage or floating a fishing boat out on the water.

Jordan Rivers is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the X-Group of Companies. Prior to his current role, he was CTO and President of TURBINE-X Technologies. Jordan also also been a Field Service Representative with Solar Turbines and Head of Product and Engineering for Pathloom.
Jordan is an accomplished professional with a vast knowledge of gas turbine engines and control systems. After receiving his pilot license at the age of 18, and going on to graduate from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Robotics, he has continued to gain expertise in new turbine technology with a passion and drive for learning new skills.
In his current role, Jordan is responsible for implementing the company's vision and long-term growth strategy. He leads our team as we strive to generate and deliver kilowatts to give back with endless energy.
Jordan and his family enjoy spending their time hiking in the great outdoors all year round.

Erica Bursey is Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at the X-Group of Companies and TURBINE-X Energy Inc.. She is credited as co-founder, along with Michael Warneboldt and their dream that began in 2020.
As CAO, Erica provides leadership, oversight and support to the company’s administrative effectiveness, supplier relationships, fleet optimization, and employee engagement. On a daily basis, Erica ensures the X-FACTOR Experience is realized by the organization, and that we continuously learn and grow in the ways we demonstrate our core values (Be great; Be kind; Stand out; Have fun; Give back; Together, We Win!). She is passionate about finding opportunities for the X-Group to support our community and give back to build a better future for generations to come.
Outside of the office, Erica enjoys family time with Michael and her daughter (who is growing up way too fast!). She loves working on and driving her '68 Firebird or relaxing out at the lake. Although Erica has been collecting classic books to expand her home library, she is not above a cheesy movie (preferably Christmas themed).

James (Jim) Skinner is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the X-Group of Companies. With over 44 years of experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Jim has provided financial leadership to businesses across various sectors. His expertise spans controllership services, financial analysis, software implementation, and the development of financial projection models for budgeting and banking requirements. He has also contributed to the creation of financial reporting software, such as JD Edwards, and has offered acquisition and disposition accounting support for major corporate transactions.
Jim has served notable clients, including Lafarge Canada Inc., Carmacks Construction Ltd., North American Construction Group, and Heidelberg Materials, bringing his expertise to some of the largest construction and industrial companies in the country.
Early in his career, Jim sharpened his skills at Ernst & Young, where he articled as a CPA student, building the foundation for his long and accomplished career in finance.
In addition to his professional achievements, Jim has taken on leadership roles in the charitable sector, including serving as Board Chairman for Hope Mission in Edmonton.

Andrew Skinner is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at X-Group of Companies. He is a versatile marketing professional, equally comfortable with graphic design and photography as he is data modelling and strategy. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a marketing major, and has driven success for professional service companies for over 15 years.
Andrew loves to see carefully planned ideas take shape and impact the real world. In his role with X-Group of Companies, he is responsible to guide and execute marketing strategy and programming to resonate with clients and grow the business.
For recreation, he and his wife chase after their corgi pup, and have really come to enjoy cross country skiing in their winter city. Andrew plays music and usually keeps a guitar handy.

Ken Brizel is Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at the X-Group of Companies, and President of TURBINE-X Technologies Corp.
Most recently, he served as the CEO of ACAMP, a unique industry-led advanced technology product development center that entrepreneurs count on to move their innovation from proof-of-concept to manufactured product.
Ken's professional journey spans over two decades, marked by significant leadership roles in multinational high-tech organizations across North America, Europe, and Asia. He was notably the CEO of LightPath Technologies in the United States, where he contributed to the company's success. Before that, Ken served as the Senior Vice President for Strategy and Business Development at Oplink Communications. His expertise also extends to his role as the Director of Strategic Marketing and the management of the Digital Signal Processor business unit at AT&T/Lucent Microelectronics. Earlier in his career, Ken held senior management positions at renowned organizations such as GE/RCA and the startup Star Semiconductor.
Ken Brizel's educational background is equally impressive, with a master's degree in electrical engineering specializing in solid-state physics earned from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His exceptional contributions to the field were honored with the prestigious David Sarnoff Award Gold Medallion for Outstanding Technical Achievement at RCA, a recognition of his pivotal role in building the QMOS product line.
Ken's extensive industry knowledge and leadership capabilities make him a prominent figure in the high-tech sector, and he continues to drive innovation and growth in his current roles.

Feroze Ansari, P.Eng. is Director of Projects at X-Group of Companies.
With more than 27 years of leadership experience and success in executing high value critical projects, he is a trusted people and technical leader with energy (oil, gas & LNG) EPC project expertise.
Feroze brings a deep understanding of Project Management, with a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from power generation, compression, gas plants, pipelines, tank farms and LNG terminals. His wealth of experience has amassed with project execution in Canada, USA, Pakistan, Australia, UAE, Iraq and other countries.
He believes in diversity and inclusion as key driving factors in developing effective teams for successful project execution. He helps teams to reach their goals better, faster and cheaper by bringing radically different perspectives together to generate a synergistic, single-team effort that eliminates wasted energy.
Feroze enjoys the great outdoors on his motorcycle and volunteering in the community.

Dan Boonstra is President of TURBINE-X Energy Inc., part of the X-Group of Companies.
Prior to his current role, Dan worked with Finning Power Systems as Service Supervisor and most recently as Director of Operations at TURBINE-X. He brings a wealth of experience in project, service, and people management to the X-Group team.
Dan is a seasoned rotating equipment specialist with experience in gas compression, power generation, and turbine generator packages. He is knowledgeable in the design, construction, and commissioning of rotating equipment, control, and power distribution systems, and has worked on applications in the oil & gas, utilities, data processing, and foods industries.
Dan and his family enjoy exploring the great outdoors, fishing, and camping. When opportunity arises, you may even find him cruising the highways on his motorcycle.

Marc Collins is VP of Sales & Business Development with TURBINE-X Energy Inc.. He is a seasoned sales leader with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in Canada and the United States.
Marc has been a guide to clients in power generation projects for over eight years, where he has developed a reputation as a relationship-driven sales leader. He believes that building strong, long-lasting connections with his clients is the key to success. Marc strives to create friendships with his customers that last for decades, not just days.
In his current role as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at TURBINE-X Energy Inc., Marc listens carefully to clients' needs in order to identify and offer solutions that maximize their success.
Marc's team-focused approach to business stems from his passion for hockey, which he has played at higher levels for over 30 years. He understands the importance of collaboration and recognizes that the strength of the team is the foundation for success in any project.

Robert Hughes is Project Sales Specialist at TURBINE-X Energy Inc., part of the X-Group of Companies.
Prior to his current role, Robert spent several years designing and implementing electrical testing protocols for Combined Heat & Power (CHP) systems, Coast Guard Cutter propulsion systems as well as Data Centres. Robert also has designed and built electrical systems for numerous industry applications, as well as electrical tramming systems for potash mines, Class 1 Emergency Response Vehicles, and an RCMP hostage negotiation vehicle and trailer.
Robert is a good listener and works hard to understand our clients' challenges. As an outside-the-box thinker, he is committed to solving problems on time and on budget, in a safe manner. The X-Group’s core values (Be great; Be kind; Stand out; Have fun; Give back) resonate deeply for Robert, and in following these he feels that naturally together, we'll win!
When not busy with church, family (2 grandchildren), or community activities, Robert enjoys spending time perfecting his skills on the BBQ or smoker, and working on his (very small) ranch in Mexico, when time permits.
