Technical Sales Representative - Nisku, AB

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative to become an X-PERT on our team, focused on supporting and growing relationships with our Canadian legacy clients. The successful candidate will be based in Edmonton or the surrounding area, with flexibility to travel across Canada as needed.
The Challenge
As a Technical Sales Representative, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our valued Canadian clients. You’ll bring strong technical knowledge, consultative sales skills, and a proactive approach to every interaction. From site visits and technical reviews to solution design and contract negotiations, you’ll ensure that clients feel supported and confident in their partnership with TURBINE-X.

What You’ll Do
- Build Lasting Relationships – Serve as the go-to contact for legacy clients across Canada, ensuring satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Deliver Tailored Solutions – Recommend and design solutions such as genset packaging, switchgear, BESS, and microgrid integration.
- Bring Technical Expertise – Collaborate with engineering and commissioning teams to create customized proposals and technical documents.
- Stay Market-Savvy – Keep up with Canadian energy trends and regulations while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Represent TURBINE-X – Participate in trade shows, client forums, and industry events to strengthen relationships and expand visibility.
- Support Growth – Contribute to forecasting, reporting, and territory strategy alongside the Director of Sales.
What We’re Looking For
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field;
- 5+ years in technical sales or account management in energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven Track Record: Success in managing long-term client relationships and complex sales cycles.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with genset systems, switchgear, BESS, and industrial power applications.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; CRM proficiency (Salesforce/HubSpot).
- Mindset: Self-motivated, adaptable, client-focused, and eager to make a lasting impact.
- Preferred: Experience with Canadian oil & gas, mining, or data centers; bilingual (English/French); microgrid or energy storage expertise.
