WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Quality Inspection: Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections in accordance with ITPs, drawings, and specifications.
- Testing & Verification: Support bench and loop testing; conduct dimensional, visual, and functional checks using calibrated equipment.
- Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate inspection records and support creation of manufacturing and handover documentation.
- Traceability & Compliance: Verify material traceability and ensure products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
- Nonconformance Management: Identify and report deviations, support root‑cause analysis, and verify corrective action effectiveness.
- Supplier Quality: Review supplier documentation and assist with corrective action follow‑up.
- Audit & Improvement: Support internal and customer audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience compiling data books, manufacturing record books, turnover packages, or quality dossiers
- Strong understanding of QA/QC documentation requirements
- Manages files, revisions, transmittals, SharePoint/EDMS, and document numbering
- Experience reviewing vendor documents and inspection/test records
- Ability to verify traceability between PO, part number, serial number, lot number, equipment tag, drawing revision, and project
- Strong organization and document tracking skills
- Familiarity with NCRs, ITPs, CoCs, MTRs, calibration certificates, and test reports
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with Engineering, QA/QC, Procurement, Production, and vendors
- Experience with:
- Certificates of Conformance
- Material Test Reports
- Calibration certificates
- FAT / test reports
- Inspection reports
- Pressure test reports
- Torque records
- Paint / coating records
- Vendor documentation
- Serial number, lot number, heat number, PO, PN, and project traceability records
- NCRs, deviations, and final disposition records when applicable
- Final manufacturing data books / turnover packages
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related technical field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic quality documentation systems and tools.
- Certification: CQI, CQT or equivalent.
- Mindset: Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and alignment with our core values.
PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to X-Group safety policies and SOPs.
- PPE: Ability to wear required gear (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, sitting, standing and walking.
