WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Deliver the X-FACTOR experience through excellence, expertise and extraordinary service
- Lead day‑to‑day inventory operations to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient material flow.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, overstock, and obsolescence.
- Coordinate receiving, stocking, picking, and material movement across the facility.
- Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP or inventory management system.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, root causes, and variances.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, and Warehouse teams to align inventory to demand.
- Develop and enforce inventory control procedures, best practices, and work instructions.
- Prepare reports and KPIs related to inventory accuracy, turns, shortages, and cycle count results.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and space optimization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company inventory policies.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals within industrial or power generation sectors.
- A mindset aligned with our values and a passion for making a difference
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management, materials planning, supply chain, or operations within industrial manufacturing, energy, power generation, or heavy equipment environments.
- Proven experience leading inventory or materials teams in fast‑paced, project‑based or engineered‑to‑order operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory control methodologies, demand planning, cycle counting, and material availability planning.
- Demonstrated success managing high‑value inventory, optimizing stock levels, and supporting production schedules for complex builds.
- Experience working with BOMs, kits, and material structures in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Track record of improving inventory accuracy, turns, and working capital while minimizing shortages and excess stock.
- Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance.
- Hands‑on experience using ERP systems for inventory tracking and reporting (Dynamics 365 or similar preferred).
- Familiarity with industrial, energy, or power generation components and supply chains preferred.
- Professional certifications related to supply chain, inventory, or operations (APICS CPIM/CSCP, CPSM, Lean, or Six Sigma) are an asset.
PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to X-Group safety policies and SOPs.
- PPE: Ability to wear required gear (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, and navigate an active industrial shop floor.
