Lead the hands-on assembly of complex Air Handling Trailer systems. Guide technicians through precision builds. Ensure every AHT meets engineering, safety, and quality standards required for Factory Performance Testing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Oversee and execute all assembly activities for Air Handling Trailer (AHT) systems, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and production schedules.
- Manage installation and alignment of pulse filters, control room components, duct transitions, fan/motor sections, and platform structures.
- Direct integration of sensors, grounding systems, and electrical connections to meet operational and safety standards.
- Coordinate S0-specific AHT pre-assembly tasks to ensure readiness for downstream processes.
- Validate all assemblies against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Perform torque verification, grounding integrity checks, and sensor calibration to guarantee system reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection reports, torque logs, and grounding verification records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Enforce strict adherence to OHS regulations, company safety protocols, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Conduct daily safety briefings, hazard assessments, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture, ensuring all team members follow PPE requirements and safe work practices.
- Provide hands-on leadership to technicians and assembly crews, ensuring proper execution of tasks and adherence to SOPs.
- Mentor team members on technical skills, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with Production Managers and Bay Supervisors to allocate resources and optimize workforce utilization.
- Partner with Engineering to resolve design challenges and clarify technical requirements.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and HSE teams during audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain for timely delivery of materials and specialized components.
- Support Commissioning Team to ensure AHT assemblies meet readiness requirements for Factory Performance Testing (FPT).
- Develop and implement assembly plans, sequencing strategies, and resource allocation to meet production deadlines.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve quality.
- Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of tools, equipment, and specialized assembly gear.
- Maintain comprehensive records of assembly progress, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Provide timely updates to leadership on status, issues, and risk mitigation plans.
- Prepare reports for internal audits, customer inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Minimum 7–10 years in industrial assembly or manufacturing, with a focus on air handling systems, ventilation equipment, or similar large-scale mechanical/electrical assemblies.
- Electrical Grounding & Bonding Certification or equivalent.
- Rigging & Signal Person Certification.
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Safety Training.
- Laser Alignment Certification.
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Proven experience leading assembly teams in a high-volume production environment.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Pulse filter installation and duct transition alignment.
- Fan/motor section assembly and vibration isolation.
- Electrical grounding and sensor integration.
- Strong background in reading engineering drawings, interpreting technical specifications, and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor technicians, enforce safety protocols, and deliver assemblies ready for Factory Performance Testing (FPT).

PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Adhere to all TURBINE-X Energy HSE policies, procedures, and training requirements.
- Participation in safety training programs, including hazard communication, emergency response, and travel safety.
- Ensure all sales team members are trained on site-specific safety protocols when visiting customer facilities or field operations.
- Participate in any required drug and alcohol testing. This position is considered safety sensitive.
- Understand and comply with the X-Group's safety polices, safe work SOPs, protocols, procedures, and rules.
- Wear required safety equipment and personal protective devices, including clothing mandated by legislation and the employer.
- Ensure the worksites is free of hazards that could cause slips, trips, or falls.
- Notify supervisors of any unsafe conditions or acts that may endanger workers.
- Report all accidents and Injuries to supervisors es soon as possible.
- Take every reasonable precaution to protect the safety of other workers and oneself.
- Maintain a valid Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract.
- Maintain a valid passport and can travel internationally as required.
- Maintain a clean criminal background check.
- Ability to lift and maneuver components up to 50 lbs manually, frequent handling of rigging gear and tooling.
- Must stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift in a manufacturing environment.
- Regular use of ladders, platforms, and fall-protection systems for overhead crane operations and enclosure close-out.
- Required for alignment, shimming, and torque verification tasks in confined spaces.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for precision alignment, torque tool operation, and handling small components.
- Ability to read detailed engineering drawings, perform IR checks, and detect abnormal sounds during assembly.
- Environmental Exposure: Work in areas with noise, vibration, heat, and airflow; must wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots).
- Shift Flexibility: Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or overtime during critical assembly and pre-FPT phases.
