We are currently looking for a Controller to become an X-PERT on our team in Nisku, Alberta. The successful candidate will reside in Edmonton or the surrounding area.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Ensure the implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls.
• Manage the financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Oversee payroll, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and bank reconciliations.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and job costing analyses.
• Perform general ledger management and month-end reconciliations.
• Partner with the Accounting team to implement a new ERP system (MS Dynamics 365).
• Collaborate across teams and with leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Uphold accuracy in tracking purchases, expenses, invoices, and payments.
• Deliver the X-FACTOR experience through excellence, expertise and extraordinary service.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or CMA designation (or actively pursuing).
  • 10+ years of senior accounting experience.
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition and job costing analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, MS Dynamics 365) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking abilities.
