We are currently looking for a Turbomachinery / Rotating Equipment Sales Specialist to join our expanding team in Nisku, Alberta. The right candidate can reside anywhere in Alberta but is required to be at head office in Nisku several times a month.

What you will do
- Source and prospect new clients; conducting sales calls, including cold calls, and following up with leads and referrals.
- Build relationships with key decision makers within existing customer base establishing TXE as a trusted advisor.
- Develop proposals and quotes based on client needs, specifications, and product offering.
- Follow up with customers on orders, quotes and services requested in a timely matter.
- Represent TXE at industry networking events such as tradeshows and conferences.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that customer requests can be achieved.
- Complete daily customer log in CRM with pertinent details.
- Collect and communicate market intelligence and project opportunities with internal stakeholders.
- Create and maintain sales budget and forecasts.
What you will offer us
- Minimum 7 years aftermarket sales experience in turbomachinery and /or rotating equipment specialising in long-term service agreements and solutions.
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
- Experience and working knowledge of GE or Solar Turbines including steam turbines an asset.
- Proven record of accomplishing sales goals.
- Significant travel; valid driver’s licence and passport required.
- Well written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to drive relationships while being personable and approachable.
- Critical thinking, analytical, research and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of sales margins, product sourcing, pricing, and negotiation.
